With two other dwarf city states that we visited in one trip, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, they are united with Monaco by "big money". Liechtenstein and Luxembourg are offshore companies with a special tax regime and banking secrecy.
In Monaco, the oligarchs of the world just hang out and spend the excess of their financial wealth. Huge yachts off the Cote d'Azur and luxury cars can be considered the hallmark of this center of hedonism. The world-famous Monte Carlo casino exists just to “waste money.”
And apparently, I like both luxury goods and glamorous places where it is expensive and rich. And as long as I have a Lamborghini and a Rolls-Royce, then it’s up to the yacht.)
