Ukraine is a historically fraternal state with common ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
Having driven through Belarus and Poland to the Czech Republic as part of a New Year's road trip in 2013, returning by another return route from Slovakia, the route passed through Ukraine on Christmas Day. There was so much snow these days that the road was very difficult, turning into an ice skating rink in places with high winds.
The visit to the capital was of a gastronomic nature, because such dishes of Ukrainian cuisine as borscht or lard hold a special place in their culinary preferences for every Slav. You can't argue that it's delicious.
